ইন্টেরিয়র ডিজাইনার্স অ্যাসোসিয়েশন অব বাংলাদেশ (আইড্যাব)-এর বার্ষিক সাধারণ সভা আজ ২৪ জানুয়ারি সংগঠনটির মগবাজারস্থ কার্যালয়ে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। সংগঠনের পরিচালক মুহাম্মদ আনামুল হক-এর সঞ্চালনায় আয়োজিত এই সভায় আইড্যাব-এর বিভিন্ন পর্যায়ের নেতৃবৃন্দ ও সাধারণ সদস্যরা অংশগ্রহণ করেন।
অনুষ্ঠানের শুরুতে উপস্থিত সকলের প্রতি আন্তরিক শুভেচ্ছা ও কৃতজ্ঞতা জ্ঞাপন করা হয়। পরবর্তীতে পবিত্র কুরআন তেলাওয়াতের মাধ্যমে সভার আনুষ্ঠানিক কার্যক্রম সূচিত হয়।
সভায় সভাপতিত্ব করেন আইড্যাব-এর সভাপতি সৈয়দ কামরুল আহসান। বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন সংগঠনের সাবেক আহ্বায়ক জনাব সফিউল ইসলাম। এছাড়াও উপস্থিত ছিলেন সিনিয়র ভাইস প্রেসিডেন্ট জনাব সাইফুল ইসলাম শরন, ভাইস প্রেসিডেন্ট স্থপতি জনাব সজীব জাহান এবং সংগঠনের পরিচালকবৃন্দ— ওয়াসিম শিকদার, ঈরফান বাবু, সুমন কুমার, মুহাম্মদ শরিফুল ইসলাম, আব্দুর রহিম ও নিয়াজুর রহমান প্রমুখ।
সভায় বক্তারা বিগত বছরের আর্থিক প্রতিবেদনসহ সংগঠনের বিভিন্ন কার্যক্রম বিস্তারিতভাবে উপস্থাপন করেন। পাশাপাশি নতুন বছরের কর্মপরিকল্পনা, ভবিষ্যৎ কার্যক্রম এবং সংগঠনের সার্বিক উন্নয়ন ও সদস্যদের পেশাগত মানোন্নয়নে গৃহীত দিকনির্দেশনা নিয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ আলোচনা ও মতবিনিময় অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।
সভা শেষে সংগঠনের ধারাবাহিক অগ্রযাত্রা বজায় রাখা, সদস্যদের পেশাগত সক্ষমতা বৃদ্ধি এবং ইন্টেরিয়র ডিজাইন খাতের উন্নয়নে আইড্যাব-এর ভূমিকা আরও সুদৃঢ় করার প্রত্যয় ব্যক্ত করা হয়।
Annual General Meeting of the Interior Designers Association of Bangladesh (IDAB) Held
Dhaka, 24 January 2026:
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Interior Designers Association of Bangladesh (IDAB) was held today, 24 January, at the association’s office in Mogbazar. The meeting was conducted by IDAB Director Muhammad Anamul Haque and was attended by leaders and general members from various levels of the association.
At the beginning of the program, sincere greetings and gratitude were extended to all attendees. The formal proceedings of the meeting commenced with the recitation from the Holy Qur’an.
The meeting was chaired by IDAB President Syed Kamrul Ahsan. Former Convener of the organization Mr. Safiul Islam was present as a special guest. Also in attendance were Senior Vice President Mr. Saiful Islam Sharan, Vice President Architect Mr. Sajib Jahan, and members of the Board of Directors— Wasim Sikder, Irfan Babu, Sumon Kumar, Muhammad Shariful Islam, Abdur Rahim, and Niazur Rahman, among others.
During the meeting, speakers presented detailed reports on the financial statements of the previous year as well as the association’s overall activities. Discussions were also held on the action plan for the new year, future programs, and strategic guidelines aimed at the overall development of the organization and the professional advancement of its members.
At the conclusion of the meeting, participants expressed their commitment to maintaining the association’s continued progress, enhancing members’ professional capacity, and further strengthening IDAB’s role in the development of the interior design sector.
